Vocational Training as a Rock- and Metal musician

Is music your passion? Set the course for a successful career in the music business with the Wacken Metal Academy by training to become a professional musician in the field of rock and metal. Become part of a dense network of creative professionals. Develop your profile, your sound and your standing.
80% of our graduates work successfully in the music business: as live and studio musicians in their own projects as well as for other well-known artists, compose, arrange and produce for film, stage and television and are represented on all of Hamburg’s stages and successful festivals.

Further programmes

Lessons take place at the Hamburg School of Music. The subjects are taught by HSM and WMA lecturers, all main subjects are taught by our WMA lecturers. We also offer additional programmes that prepare students for our entrance examination.
